Getting started
Blik works on its own once it's on your home screen. Here's how to set it up and what everything does.
1. Install and open Blik
Get Blik Calendar Widget from Google Play and open it. Blik asks for access to your calendar so it can show your events. Without it, the widgets can't show anything.
2. Add a widget
On Blik's main screen, tap Add next to the widget you want, and confirm where it goes. You can also add one the usual way: touch and hold an empty spot on your home screen, tap Widgets, and find Blik Calendar Widget.
- Agenda and Agenda, wider: a row of upcoming days.
- Agenda column: upcoming days in a column.
- Month: a month grid with the details of one day below it.
Widgets can be resized: touch and hold the widget, then drag its edges. Pictures and text scale to fit.
3. Using the agenda widgets
- Each event shows a picture, a word or two from the event, and its start time.
- Days without events are shown quietly, so you can tell how far away each event is.
- Tap the arrow at the edge to page through the upcoming days.
- Tap anywhere else to open the controls: My events, Settings, Refresh, Calendar (opens your calendar app), and About.
4. Using the month widget
- Tap a day to show its events in the panel at the bottom. Tap an event there to see it in My events.
- Tap the date at the bottom left to go back to today.
- Tap the month name to jump to any date.
- Use the arrows to see other months (with Blik Pro).
- + adds an event on the selected day in your calendar app, and the list button shows that day in My events.
5. Change a picture
Open My events, tap the event, then tap Picture. Choose a category and a picture, then choose whether to use it for just this event or, with Blik Pro, for every event with the same words.
6. Make it yours
In Settings, choose which calendars to show, how many weeks the agenda covers (Pro), and more. Tap Widget colors to pick a style and color, previewed over your own wallpaper.
